The Genesis: NVRDC (2008)

Our philanthropic journey began in **2008** with the establishment of the **Nohari Vivekananda Rural Development Center (NVRDC)**, a registered voluntary organisation under the West Bengal Societies Act, 1961. The NVRDC was founded on the vision of **Swami Vivekananda**, focused on the combination of Oriental Spirituality with Occidental Science and Technology.

The core mission of NVRDC was to mitigate the hardships of suffering humanity through:

• **Rural Development** in backward areas of West Bengal and India.
• Promotion of **Self-Employment** through agriculture, industry, trade, and commerce.
• **Women and Tribal Development**, emphasizing spiritual, educational, and economic empowerment.

This early work was sustained by the concept of **SERVICE TO JIVA IS INDEED SERVICE TO SHIVA**, a principle that still guides us today.

The Evolution: Bluzon Foundation

The extensive experience and success of NVRDC inspired us to establish the **Bluzon Foundation**. Our goal was to professionalize our efforts and broaden our scope to address societal needs with a more comprehensive and **holistic approach**.

Today, the Bluzon Foundation aims to serve society and actively generate **employment and business opportunities**. Our expanded focus includes **healthcare, education, daycare, skill development, and support services**. From providing **early intervention** for special needs children to facilitating **job placements**, we empower individuals with the necessary tools and skills to thrive within their families, communities, and society.

We believe **every journey is unique**. We are committed to supporting every step—from teaching daily living skills to pursuing education and meaningful work. Together with our partners, we are building a world where everyone can belong and succeed.
